Jungle monkey - South Florida !!

 "When humans are caged and the monkeys in the wild" is the term to identify a Florida tourist destination. No, not a "Planet of the Apes" theme park but that is the mark of Jungle monkey, a zoo innovative where you can see 400 primates released into a preserve of thirty acres.

Jungle monkey goes back to 1933 when animal behavior, Joseph Drummond released six monkeys in their natural habitat. The six monkeys became the Java monkey troop that greets visitors today at the jungle park and nature reserve. Jungle monkey is unique in that it is one of the few reserves of primates in North America and is open to the public.

The six original Jungle monkey are now a force numbering in the eighties, and are the main attraction of Monkey World, as they are usually qualified hunting crabs and shell fish in rivers and mangroves divers. At Monkey World, you can see diving in a pool and receive the fruits of the park staff.

Java Monkeys are other 29 species of primates, including gibbons, monkeys and spider monkeys.
